Heritage Days - 2013

A large display of Scorpion snowmobiles was found again at this year's Heritage Days, held in Crosby's Memorial Park. Crosby-Ironton Royalty were present and graced the snow-machines with a number of exceptional photographs.

Scorpion Homecoming 2013 offered a largest-ever feature sled (the wedge designs of 1971-1972) with 28 of these bold red and black machines gracing the event’s feature aisle. All told, approximately 160 Scorpions of all sizes, stripes and colors were on display, having traveled from both the Cuyuna Range and parts as far away as Michigan, Saskatchewan and South Korea.

Waconia Ride-In - Scorpion Featured

For the second time in it's history, the Waconia Ride-In featured Scorpion snowmobiles again this year. A large number of Scorpion and Trail-A-Sled, Inc. snow-machines graced the floor of the Waconia Ballroom, with several Scorpion luminaries speaking at the Saturday evening banquet.

Scorpion Homecoming 2012 offered a largest-ever feature sled (the TK/TKX of 1979-1981) with 28 of these bold red and black machines gracing the event’s feature aisle. All told, approximately 180 Scorpions of all sizes, stripes and colors were on display, along with a large number of spectators, both from the Cuyuna Range and throughout the Midwest. A large contingent of former dealers and Scorpion racers were also present (including Sandra Shultz, Les Pinz and Dave Karpik) along with many newcomers to the Homecoming.

Homecoming 2011 Recap

A pleasant break in the weather greeted the several hundred Scorpion faithful who descended upon Crosby’s Memorial Park for this year’s festivities. Celebrating seven years running, Scorpion Homecoming 2011 featured the Super Stinger of 1974 and 1975. Area residents may remember that era, when Chuck Connors of “The Rifleman” served as company spokesperson, and over four hundred individuals worked at the Crosby-Ironton manufacturing campus. Twenty-eight of these classic Super Stingers were on proud display in a variety of original colors.
