Naubinway-Engadine Merchants Association - 2006
February 17-18, 2006 - Naubinway, MI - Largest in Michigan, the Naubinway-Engadine Merchants Association once again hosted the 14th annual vintage show and ride. Scorpion/Trail-A-Sled snowmobiles and related products were featured this year and 200 people attended the event which featured vintage video and a PowerPoint presentation, courtesy of the Dick Harrison family. First Tracks - 2005
December, 2005 - Alexandria, MN - Steve Pierce, ASCOA contributing editor penned an abbreviated history of the snowmobile for SnowTech Magazine's Vintage Rider column (Vol 38, No 4). Titled First Tracks, the article accurately summarized Trail-A-Sled, Inc.'s contributions, including forward-engine prototypes as early as 1962. Such a machine was featured in large contemporary photograph.
Super Sled Shoot-Out
October 22, 2005 - Brainerd, MN - Together with the Antique Snowmobile Club of America, American Snowmobiler's Super Sled Shoot-Out II featured an indoor display of vintage snowmobiles this year. Several local Scorpion collectors presented their machines, including a wonderfully restored 1960 two-seat Trail-A-Sled air-sled.
