July 4, 2007: Hometown Scorpion fans enjoyed a strong showing of vintage Scorpion's at this year's Crosby-Ironton, Fourth of July Parade. In this photo, former Scorpion racer and dealer Les Pinz is seen skillfully motoring his wheel-kit 1970 Stinger with a Sachs 340ss. Les' granddaughter stood atop a trailing float featuring a 1971 Grand Prix made by Boatel in near-by Isle, Minnesota. Dave Johnson, Steve Pierce and Ray Finberg from the ASCOA participated as well as local collectors Dick Harrison, Jim Taylor and Don and Angie Peterson.
